We enjoy a range of activities that vary between the settlings, but all of the nurseries hold parents weeks, parent meetings and stay and plays. We have found that these give us the opportunity to talk and get to know each other, this then helps us to ensure each child is cared for individually.
Below are a few testimonials from each of the nurseries.
“I had a lovely afternoon playing with Isabella and doing the activities. Isabella’s favourite thing was making the birds nests. Should definately be more stay and plays and definitely more baking. Great afternoon, all round.”
“The children were offered the choice of different activities which the parents could easily engage in. All children were happy with the adult presence and the opportunity gave parents the chance to see their child play with other children. All in all I enjoyed my time with Tyler and meeting the children my son will be spending a lot of time with. Very good, staff were pleasant and welcoming.”
“I really enjoyed the stay and play and my daughter enjoyed all of the activities that were set out for her. She enjoyed the shaving foam and got me and herself very messy. She also enjoyed bringing a cake home that she had made. Looking forward to the next one.”
“Really enjoyed the stay and play was great to see Elliot during circle time! He shows confidence at home too and sings the songs. Loved being able to share my time between the two sessions. Wish it was for longer! Would really like to see a guided focus time with Elliot and his key worker. Thankyou for another lovely stay and play!! When is the next one????? Leanne x”
“Once again the stay and play was both enjoyable for Darcy and Myself !.
Its always good to see how Darcy is progressing at nursery , and this is probley one of the best ways to see this first hand. The shaving foam was a great idea , especially as this is probably something that we wouldn’t do at home and it gave all a chance to make a good old mess! Looking forward to the next one.”
“It was lovely to see ***** playing independently and choosing different activities. It was nice to be able to play with him in a new environment.”
