What we provide

ABC Day Nursery Hadley provides full and part time day care, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year from 7.45am to 6pm.

We have full use of an area within the grounds of Hadley Learning Community to provide Forest School activities – always much enjoyed by the children and an opportunity to play and learn in the great outdoors!

Food is freshly cooked onsite, with a delicious menu plan regularly shared with parents, and all dietary requirements can be catered for.

How we are structured

The nursery is made up of three distinct rooms, all with underfloor heating, and an outdoor area, designed to provide the ideal environment for each age group.

A bright, comfortable and flexible space, including a large carpeted area, with a range of toys and stimulating equipment designed to encourage development using the Curiosity Approach. There is a separate sleeping area, with gentle music and bedding provided, along with a milk kitchen and changing facilities.

Then there’s the messy area, used for all manner of art and craft activities, and a door leading to the secure outdoor play area. Our outside area is well equipped with a variety of equipment, including safety surfaces and grass for the children to play on.

The Discoverers room is full of fun, with the only limit to activities being the children’s imagination. There’s a story corner, home corner, messy area and a quiet, comfortable area for sleep time.

Our Discoverers have their own door leading to an outside play area which is safe and secure with a variety of outdoor play equipment and toys to cover all aspects of development, along with safety surfaces and grass for the children to play on.

Toilet facilities are also located within Discoverers, offering small toilets, changing facilities and potties for toilet training.

The main aim for toddlers is learning through play with language playing a very important role at this stage of their development, so it can get lovely and noisy!

Our Adventurers room is a fun, flexible space with a variety of different areas to encourage learning through play and discovery.

The room includes a large comfortable carpeted area and a specific area for art and messy activities.

Information technology also plays an important role within Adventurers, with all children having the opportunity to use computers and an interactive whiteboard. All software is of course age and stage appropriate for the children.

As with our two other rooms, there are doors leading straight to the outdoor play area, so children have the freedom to play indoors or out in the fresh air.

“A massive thank you for all your help and continued support not just for our child, but for us all as a family. We would recommend ABC to everyone.”
