Coronavirus Update: information for parents.

Posted 24th April, 2020

Important message to parents following the Coronavirus outbreak.

Dear parents and carers,

I hope you are all well and staying safe.

I just thought I would write to you and update you on ABC and going forward. On Thursday 16th April, the government announced we would be in lock down for a further 3 weeks thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, which takes us to the 7th May. Therefore, this means our nurseries are still closed to everyone other than keyworkers, until further notice.

We are very pleased to say that we have kept 3 of our nurseries open, with only Hollinswood closing but the good news is that families from Hollinswood are able to access our other nurseries which is great. We are very proud of our staff who are working through this pandemic to support our families and I would like to personally take this opportunity of thanking them.

At the moment we will not be charging fees in May, unless of course under government instructions people are eased back into work. Please can you just bare with us through this process. Many of you will need new contracts doing till the end of the year (August 2020) taking into account the two months without fees. Also, some of you have still had your vouchers/government funding sent to us, this will be put as credit on your account for when you return.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for your continued support and reassure you that once we are given the go ahead to open our doors, we will be. We can’t wait for everyone to be back at nursery, we are certainly missing you all.

Thank you to those of you who have been uploading photos on iconnect, it has made our day seeing what all the children are getting up to and how much fun they are having.

We will be sharing Curiosity Approach activities for you to do at home throughout the lock down.

Finally, please take care and stay safe.
