URGENT COVID-19 UPDATE FROM ABC

Posted 22nd March, 2020
Covid-19 update

Dear Parents/carers,

I write this letter with a very heavy heart. Unfortunately, we will have to close our doors at the end of Monday 23rd March to anyone who is not a key worker.

If you are unsure if you are a key worker, please check (see link below). All key worker parents will be asked to sign a declaration form. Please remember only ONE parent needs to be a key worker. We totally understand that the other parent may work nights for example and therefore is unable to look after the child. If you have any doubts at all, please ask.

This decision hasn’t been made lightly and we have tried to support all our families at ABC for as long as we can.

I would personally like to thank you all for your continued support. As you can appreciate my aim is to keep all our children and staff safe during this difficult time. Over the next few weeks, we will all have some difficult decisions to make. Hopefully we will be able to open to all our lovely families again very soon.

I know probably the main question most of you will be asking is about fees, so for those children who will not be attending in April there will be no charge.

We will endeavour to keep you up to date on our position and we are so looking forward to having all our lovely children back.

For those families who will still be attending ABC, again we will keep you up to date on any changes that we have to make, as and when we are told by government or our local authority.

Finally, on behalf of all our staff at ABC, take care and most of all stay safe and we will see you all very soon.

Yours sincerely

Penny

ABC Director
