Covid-19 update for parentsPosted 3rd July, 2020
We hope you are all well and have enjoyed some of this lovely weather we have been having.
I would first like to say a huge thank you to all of our families, who have returned over the last few weeks. You have all been amazing following all the new procedures which are very strange to us as well. We are so proud of the children; they have settled back into nursery life really well and have enjoyed seeing their friends again.
We would also like to give a big shout out to our amazing team, who have worked so hard and gone above and beyond to make sure nursery is nursery and we thank them for it.
Now you may or may not be aware that due to government guidance we are having to work in bubbles to keep the children and staff safe. This is not an easy task as you can probably imagine. Ultimately this is causing us problems with how many children we can take at any one time. We are hoping over the next couple of weeks this restriction will be lifted, so watch this space.
So, at the moment if you are not attending nursery you will not be charged any fees for July and your space is safe. However, if this guidance does change, we will obviously need to review this. I am sure you can appreciate like every business this has had a huge financial impact on the whole of the nursery sector.
Going forward, if you are thinking of returning to nursery over the next few weeks, please can you contact us. At present we do only have limited spaces and as you can appreciate its not an easy task to keep adjusting the bubbles, we only have so much space. Therefore, you may be asked if you can change your days/sessions or we may have to put you on a waiting list. Please bear with us, as our main priority is to keep everyone safe.
If you would like to discuss any of the above, then please contact me.
Take care and stay safe.
