ABC Day Nurseries

The pre-school at Wrockwardine is registered to provide nursery education which is delivered through a mixture of child initiated and adult led activities inline with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The pre-school area is made up of two main rooms and a quiet room.

In the main rooms the children have access to a broad range of equipment and resources. The rooms have special areas for role play, puppets, computers, writing, craft as well as sand and water play. All the equipment and resources are easily accessed by the children who can choose their own equipment during child initiated play, both of the main rooms are spacious, exciting and practical.

The quiet room is cosy and comfortable with plenty of soft furnishings, this area provides the children with the opportunity to listen to story tapes, music and look at books.

The pre-school rooms have access to a large outside area and the children are encouraged to take their chosen resources outside. The staff also provide bikes, trikes, chalk, water and balls; they also organise team games and use the parachute.
