ABC Day Nurseries

The nursery is divided into four sections:

• ‘Starfish’ – for children aged 3 months to 2 years
• ‘Seahorses’ – for children aged 2 years to 3 years
• ‘Dolphins’ – for children aged 3 years to 5 years
• Holiday club facility 'Wrockys' - for children aged 5 years to 11 years

Wrockwardine ABC Day Nursery offers a warm, friendly and caring atmosphere for the children. All staff are experienced and qualified, which enables them to plan exciting and stimulating play based activities using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). All children’s needs are provided for and the nursery offers excellent provision for children with special needs.

The nursery offers a full and varied menu, which is provided by a catering company who hold a 'Platinum Healthy eating Award'. The menu changes throughout the year and special dietary requirements can be catered for, please see the Healthy Eating page for a sample weekly menu.

We have a soft play area outside the toddler room for babies and toddlers to use, with a variety of equipment such as a play house, slide, sand and water, balls etc. The area is enclosed so the children are safe.

We then have a large playground area outside the main building, for all children to use. Equipment is taken out on a daily basis.

The nursery is set in a small and picturesque village, providing a lovely environment for the children to learn and play.

Security: - The safety of your child is paramount to Wrockwardine ABC Day Nursery. We have installed a Biometric Entry System, which will take a reading of your thumb or finger. This ensures that only designated people have access to our nursery.

We strongly recommend a visit to Wrockwardine ABC Day Nursery for all parents showing an interest in local nursery provision for their children. As part of the visit, you will be given a guided tour of the nursery where you will be able to view all of its facilities and ask any questions you may have.
