ABC Day Nurseries

The nursery is divided into three sections:

• ‘Starfish’ – for children aged 3 months to 2 years
• ‘Seahorses’ – for children aged 2 years to 3 years
• ‘Dolphins’ – for children aged 3 years to 5 years

Outside area.

The children have use of the outside play area as well as the school hall, making it possible for them to experience a wide range of activities such as football and dance. There is a large playground with a fixed climbing frame, balance beam and plenty of space for the children to use bikes, trikes and scooters. Children can also access chalk, water and sand.


After school club

This club give the children time to do homework, use computers, socialise, play games and take part in craft activities. The children are provided with a high tea to tide them over until they get home.

For Younger Children

Activities for the younger children are planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and are then differentiated so all the children can participate.

Security: - The safety of your child is paramount to ABC Day Nursery Hollinswood. We have installed a Biometric Entry System, which will take a reading of your thumb or finger. This ensures that only designated people have access to our nursery.

The staff in the room enable children to learn by providing a language rich environment, which allows all children to develop at their own unique level and pace. This also benefits the acquisition of English for those children who have English as an additional language.

A visit to ABC Day Nursery Hollinswood is recommended; you will be given a guided tour where a staff member will inform you about the opportunities and experiences your child can enjoy. To arrange this visit, please contact the nursery manager who will be happy to make the arrangements.
