Meet the team behind the nurseries.

At ABC we are very fortunate to have an area team, which work across all 4 nurseries, supporting managers, staff, children and their families.

So, lets meet them…

Annka Jeavons

Level 3 in Early Childhood Care & Education, BA hons in Early Childhood Studies, DSL

Annka’s role within ABC is to work with the Lead Operation Managers, to make sure we are adhering to all our statutory requirements, this includes policy and procedures, making sure all our children feel safe and are receiving the best care. This also includes our team of staff making sure their well-being is being looked after, keeping up to date with statutory training for example first aid, food hygiene and Child protection. Also delivering bespoke training around the statutory requirements.

Lucy Shaw

BTEC, Foundation Degree in Early Years, DSL

Lucy’s role within ABC is to make sure the quality of our practice is always Outstanding and the children in our care are getting the best start in life! This is achieved through mentoring, modelling, supporting and bespoke training to suit our staff and children’s needs.

We also have Lucy to thank for our social media pages, the children certainly keep her busy!

Laura Powell

BA in Primary Education, Early Years Professional Status, DSL

Laura makes sure, all children are on the right path of development and continue to grow, this is done by having professional discussions with each child’s key worker, tracking their development and progress. Laura also over see’s our amazing apprentices we have here at ABC, whether they be straight from school or mature we pride ourselves in nurturing them into being excellent Early Years Practitioners.

Kim Fraser

Level 3 in Early Years, working towards Level 5, Level 3 Send DSL

Kim is our SEND support to help all our children achieve their potential. Kim will support children and their families if necessary. This will ensure that when our children go to school, they have the right plan behind them with the support that is needed.

Sharon Briscoe

Level 3 Diploma in Business, Business & Administration, Sage

Sharon is our business manager who works from head office with a small team of administrators, Nina, Tracy and Millie. This team work extremely hard behind the scenes, preparing contracts, invoicing, and liaising with professional bodies like College, Uni and LA.
