ABC Day Nurseries

The baby room is small and homely, which helps the babies to settle in quickly. There are cots and cushions for sleep or rest time, an area for messy activities alongside a carpeted area which is used for exploring equipment, treasure baskets and socialising with staff and the other children.

The room is bright and welcoming with lots of natural light.

The baby room staff will plan the baby room activities on a weekly basis in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) ensuring that play and having fun is a priority, taking into account the babies’ age, routine and stage of development.

All children are assigned to a keyworker who will be responsible for producing their learning journeys and development records. These are available for parents/ carers to read at anytime. We also value and welcome information contributed from home.
